FinPak Toolbar

The FinPak Toolbar



This is the FinPak Toolbar. When FinPak is loaded as the menu bar below shows,  the FinPak toolbar will also be available. If you don't see it go to the View Menu, Toolbars, and place a check next to FinPak Simulation and the toolbar will appear. If you don't like the location drag it to a new location. In Excel 2007 the FinPak toolbar is on the Add-in Tab, Custom Toolbar ribbon and the Menu entry appears in Menu Commands ribbon.

The toolbar contain eight buttons, that have the following functions:



Button:

Function:

Simulate

Starts the simulation

Freeze

Removes all of the formulas from the output sheet so that only data is left

Combine

Allows you to combine two or more simulations into one sheet

Add Sheet/Combine

Add additional sheets to an existing combined sheet

Compare

Compares two simulation to each other

Input Distribution

Is a wizard that allows you to create custom distribution for the simulation

Replace MV's

Will change all of the missing value codes to a something different

Reset

Resets the random number sequence to repeat

The FinPak Toolbar and Menus are under the Add-Ins tab:



Note the menus are under the FinPak option (Circled) and to the right you can see the FinPak Toolbar. Note that you might have additional entries depending on the software and options you have installed in Excel (As an example the entry highlighted in yellow is not part of FinPak.).
